I have seen many videos on Facebook about this game and I find it too good with all its setting. The monsters are disgustingly creepy and this gives it a much, much more terrifying touch because it's exactly as you say, these monsters give the feeling of bringing back childhood fears. There is no need for jumpscares in this game, it reminds me a bit of Outlast where the tension was what made you keep your back cold because someone could always be chasing you.
