There are several variables that I would love to have observational data on, but don't have ready access yet.

The following would be very useful in an exhaustive pollen study:

1. Wind patterns.
2. Local temperature.
3. Local precipitation.
4. Local land use changes.
5. Local humidity.

Almost all the above can be grabbed from NOAA ... but it's a lot to sort through by myself.

I'm starting from a base level and small data set in order to learn both the programs and the methodology of effective data analysis. I've discovered that if I try to tackle a very large project at the outset, I generally don't get very far and give up the project before any useful result.

Hopefully the base result is interesting to people... other than me... But I'm now addicted to posting for small change coins anyway...

I've also decided that trying to figure out how to upvote effectively for coins is not something I'm going to be good doing. So, unless it's going to mess with everyone's day, I'm going to upvote things I actually like reading and/or find useful. Perhaps the coins will follow, perhaps not. Steemit is still better than giving away all possible profit to some large International Identity Tracking Corporation.
