About Crispr -

stuff like that, does not make me overly optimistic of the future - of course, tech can be good or bad - but how I see the world, is the people that have the power to use anything advanced, like Crispr, seem to have all bad intentions - i remember a video online about someone talking about the tech, or something likewise, that they could use - this was an open panel you probably see it, about using tics, the bug, to make people allergic to meat - this was seen as a positive to them -

the problem is expert bias and the curse of knowledge - having a full understanding of a closed system for long enough, gives you the false belief that you have a higher understanding of other systems - even ones that don't seem closed - they are dealing with something that is so complex, that no human could even fully understand the system in their lifetime - i.e., nature complete system. They cannot even predict the weather with any great accuracy - i mean, its scary the kind of evil that could be done with Crispr.

I don't know enough about the tech to really say how the nightmare would arise, but any tech in the hands of the people that control this world, seems to be exclusively be used for evil.
I think the most valuable export humanity has to offer is the fact that we enable the universe to see and examine itself - it really is light in darkness and we can bring the light out into that darkness. I do not think the universe is empty - I think its full of life - unless we are in a simulation and perhaps the real universe is on the other side - Thanks!
