Probably a lot more easier to do soon anyway, with AI learning and things like that - if it was not for the limitations with the software, as you point out. So in time maybe the AI could fly it - of course, in a free world, we would have these already, flying about -but of course, the gov would lose control over its ability to control people's lives - people might just skip highways, toll booths - things like that - and soon, from their point of view, it would be chaos - the problem to overcome, would be the leeches in gov - they need their packet of money at every turn. They need more control. But maybe that could be overcome, who knows - in time.
