About the parasites - I agree, they only exist because they feed on excess - about what you are saying about decentralised automation - that is why I have hope in the future, although not sure when, that AI will enable us to be free of the banking cartels - I can imagine a future with an automated farming system on someone's small property whereby the owner does not have to any any knowledge at all to make it work - just turn it on and it will make food yields depending on what you program it to do - that would be the dream of course.

About growing at home for me - I don't have a yard. So it would have to be inside - I do some sprouting, but that is about it - although I could sort something out I guess.

I have been reading a lot about self-sufficient farming - strangely, that was my upbringing - we had a property that had all the vegetables / fruit we could ever eat. There was always more than we needed. Now as an adult, I realised how good I had it. Often, I guess a thought that comes later in life - if you had it good when you were young.

If we had control of the food, as you say, that would make the parasites useless - they prey on control over the food supply - plus, if everyone had power at home, food, you would have to work far less - if in the future work is even the same as it is now. If people did not have to work jobs they hated, then less expense on gas, less reason for it, etc., less energy wars, and the house of cards collapses -

Of course, time will tell. This would not move in a vacuum. With each move towards freedom, they would try to find ways to turn us back into slaves. However, if decentralisation e.g., AI farming, expands too fast for them to cope with, then they would struggle to react. Then they might fade away like a demons they are. But we will see what happens.
