You are right about them all being utterly corrupt - every single nation is now corrupt beyond belief.

About the geo storm - it will be something where they can use cover - I am not sure how they will play it out, but once they decide when, they will just find something convenient to tag it to - most of those space labs they could just fake the data in anyway - we know that scientists are more than happy to commit fraud, so they could label any normal storm a geo 5 or something - use it like you said as an excuse to take down the grid - anything is on the table.

They might even hold off in knocking out the power (so they can maintain brainwashing/brainwashing/ surveillance) and just go old school, with the continuous constant wind down i.e., push up food costs, housing, everything until breaking point / keep cracking people's minds and confusing them - and keep stoking racial tensions - kind of divide everyone to breaking point / civil war - they can kill the war at anytime with starvation i.e., Holodomor- of course, anything could happen - who knows how their mind works. Part of me wonders if they will just pull out the bluebeam card - either way, we will find out soon.
