Yeah i agree - its pretty much a classic power play really, like a show of strength some kind of mafia would make to show the community that they better keep paying their tax - im sure all kinds of shady things are happening right now in the night over there. Sad, but its the way it is now days I guess. The prince has come to town and he has his retainer out burning barns so to speak.
