About Musk - that could be the case alright - also it is possible that if you take the idea about making a honey trap etc., - he has pulled a lot of people from other semi-indie platforms / all still centralised i.e., Rumble that were only now stating to have their own ecosystems - Rumble was becoming very popular with a lot of people wanting to talk about the vaccine - those people are coming back to twitter - they are going to a centralised platform again where they can be controlled - meanwhile bleeding the indie platforms bases just as they were in a peak time of growth - I already see a lot of people not using Rumble Live and uses instead Twitter Spaces - I saw Steve Kirsch back on Twitter Spaces having a debate when he would have had it on Rumble Live - it is interesting but in the short term it is very beneficial like you say to have these leaks / drops out here.

I really hope I am wrong about Elon Musk and part of me is whispering to myself that he is doing a lot of good - but yeah, I am sceptical in the long run. In the short run the leaks coming out are very good, so he has done a lot in that regard - but you done a good summery of the overall picture -

About guns - when I grew up we had a bunch of guns in the house, and not even sure what he process was to get a licence or if you even needed one. But it was not a big deal in fact talking of schools, once I went with my dad to clear a school of rabbits on the weekend - we were in the school with a gun walking around lol - last I heard about getting a firearm in New Zealand now was that you had to go meet with a shrink or something and have a police interview then the police had to come to your house and look around - then they had to talk to all your friends - can you believe that? It is like you are applying to join the secret service or something.
