Yeah that is the thing about this. There are warnings in the past - it has happened before - and they are right there. Yet, people are still embracing the same types of thinking. It makes my head hurt - how massive it has become and how those in authority are drones willing to do what the same brown-coats done in the past - if people are happily killing / weather in the US or arresting people "without papers" like the police in Victoria / people are celebrating - they are celebrating mindless violence without any justification - either that, or just plain "don't care" and there is no condemnation - something akin to what happened in Nazi Germany, or the night of the broken glass as you cite, could happen - it is getting more extreme by the day - a week goes by, and its worse and worse . . .
You also make a good point about how the ability to feed ourselves, at least within large cities, and most county towns now, people are depending on the equivalent of venting machines / supermarkets - most people are skilless - that means, if it goes south, there is going to be a lot of hungry people and wanting what everyone else has, those few that do have anything -
The censorship as you state, is just out of control - its everywhere - there has never been a time in my life, where I am more worried about the future than now and my faith in the MSM/Academia/Government has been lower. Give them power, and they outright lie, enact violence in order to keep it -
