A dramatic morning on the high seas of @visitnordlys . One of the few light sources on this dark morning was pointing in our direction. The light glittered on the surface of the water and suddenly an orca fin broke through. Everything lined up and this dramatic scene occurred.

What seems like a full-speed boat ride is in fact just one of many weather conditions that changed almost every other minute. Let me take you on a turbulent boat trip on the rough open seas of northern Norway. In @visitnordlys in winter there’re only a few short hours of light each day, so we chose to get on the deck of our vessel as soon as dawn started to break. The light seemed to turn our surroundings into a beautiful, bittersweet and slightly melancholic dream. Magical times in #northernnorway #norway
