Hello friends!
I 've been away for the past week and I didn't have the chance to log on steemit... I kinda missed the community and searching for great authors and articles but now I'm back at home again.. Currently I am working in a stock taking ( inventory checking ) company along with my cousin and some other great friends and this week we went to Crete to work in a few places.
I was pretty excited when I learned that we were going to work in Crete. I knew that it would be pretty tiresome as we had to visit all three major cities ( Heraklion, Rethymno and Chania ) and there were lots of places that we had to work to but I didn't really care about that because I hadn't been in Crete for almost a decade now and I really wanted to visit my relatives there!
I am 1/4th cretan by my mother's side ( my grandmother was born in Heraklion ) and Crete has a special place in my heart! ( as well as all the other places where I hold my ancestry from... I'll have the chance to post a few things about them too in later posts! ).
I'd like to share with you a few photos that I took from my trip there. Unluckily I had the chance to take photos only from Chania and only in the last day of our trip because I had nearly no time the other days. Hopefully I'll visit Crete again soon, I hope this time for holidays :P !

PS: I'm tinkering with markdown and I can say I'm pretty happy with the results lol. I know it's nothing special and an experienced programmer would probably laugh at me right now xD
