So a few months back I did a write up about the old cabin in my yard that was a bacholers house in the 70's. With spring approaching once the snow is melted and water is gone I decided to get my butt moving on this one the last few days. We ordered 25 red susex cross chicks to start with and will slowly grow the flock as we learn to care and harvest these animals properly. My family had chickens when I was a young kid and its something I have always missed, Not only is it gunna be awesome to have some more animals at our farm but its also one more step closer to an organic way of life away from relying on everyday things. Its a lot of work caring for animals and growing your own food but nothing is more rewarding.
