RE: GitHub has reportedly been bought by Microsoft!
That's a fair point about Google, I also hope that other companies don't move away. As for Atom/Electron/Github Desktop and all, I actively use these technologies and it doesn't sound like MS will be too

RE: Fixing Confusing Visual Cues In Zeal Offline Documentation Browser
Do you play games? That's the one reason that I could never switch, I've always had trouble with WINE.

RE: Programming: Which Editors Do We All Use?
I had no idea that a blind programming community exists! NVDA is incredible, and I can't believe that I hadn't heard of it before. I hope that more companies get support for screen-reading technologies,

That's really cool :) What made you switch to Linux (or stay)? I dual-boot, but I haven't found any reason so far to switch from Windows.

RE: GitHub has reportedly been bought by Microsoft!
Why do you think that it's not good? From what I've heard so far, I'm hoping for integration with MS accounts so I can have a better time coding on Windows (i.e. connecting VS with my Github so I can edit

RE: Just joined Steemit after extreme censorship by Facebook.
What I find interesting is that Facebook censors specific ads and news, so it comes down to 2 issues: Ads about cryptocurrencies and other topics that are valid, although lacking in substance and potentially

RE: What they said in 1999 about Amazon
What I find great about this is that today's Silicon Valley companies generally don't have the physical/hardware side (except for hosting, of course) that Amazon had with their warehouses. It's not required

This is really interesting. Do you mind commenting the code a little bit more so I can see where the hidden layers are?

RE: HACKER REVEALS MAJOR SECURITY BREACH INTO MAC USER ACCOUNTS!!!! ATTENTION ALL MAC USERS!!!!!!
Don't just change passwords - as @kslo said in another comment below, change your root password! If you're not comfortable with that, then at least disconnect your device from the internet. Don't get me

This is an interesting idea for a database project. I wonder if in the future Steemit could support a paid service for something like this.
