A favourite stop for me, visiting the lighthouse!
There are many lighthouses all over the island of Newfoundland, not all towns have them, but some have heavily relied on them for many years to guide them safely ashore.
The treacherous rocks below can easily be missed when it’s dark, and many places here are fishing communities, largely reliant on ocean resources to keep the local economy going.
