No black and white filter needed here today, that’s for sure!

Most of the snow is melted away and the ice in the pond is gone. The ducks were SOOOO happy to get to the pond this morning!

I made this painting a while back and couldn’t let go of it. Kept it for myself 🙂

I haven’t decided where to put it up in the house yet, or what kind of frame, I’ll probably create something weird for it to match my soul.

I want to make more winter landscapes like this one. I really love the shadows on the trees, they turned out great.

A friend asked me to try some more ominous or dark painting, and I’m excited to explore that as well.

I always loved drawing and painting weird things, but people would look at my most favourite ones and be like..
oh... okaaaaay.. 😳

So it’s been a long process for me to learn what people like, what paintings are more often sold as prints in stores etc.. and I realize my personal taste is very, very different from that.
One thing I can take pleasure in creating is nature in most any form.
And people often enjoy that just fine ❤️
