Salesforce, an American cloud computing company based in San Francisco and founded in 1999, is developing a product that is backed by blockchain technology.
This news was revealed by the company CEO, Marc Benioff, during the Business Insider’s Julie Bort at the TrailheaDX Salesforce Developer Conference on March 28. Benioff said that his experience at a hotel bar in Davos, Switzerland, in January motivated his push for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. During the World Economic Forum which coincided with a Cryptocurrency Conference, Benioff had a discussion with one of the attendees that led him to begin considering integrating blockchain technology.
