The main issue I have with Brave is it requires you to verify your phone number, and the address where you sleep at night, and take photos of your facial structure, retinas, and other biometric data.

That is not Brave, that is Uphold, and they only ask for your Drivers License and Social, pretty much the same as every exchange complying with laws.

If Brave moves back in the direction of privacy, I'll give it another look!
