Hello my gaming folks from Hive, I hope you’re doing well. Today we continue the adventure in Fable: The Lost Chapters
Right at the beginning we head to Witchwood, a remote island that can only be reached through portals. Our objective is to find the archaeologist—for what reason? No idea. Upon arriving at the island, a giant troll greets us, and to our disappointment, despite the damage of its attacks, they were very simple. It had two attacks: one ranged, consisting of throwing rocks that, honestly, at least one would hit you since they were quite unpredictable, and another close-range attack that gave you plenty of time to move out of its radius. Not to mention the laugh animation when it managed to deal some damage—quite simple for an enemy. You can tell this game has some years on it.
After clearing the area, we come across a talking door that keeps the archaeologist locked inside and will only open if we discover its name. Fortunately, we manage to find it in exchange for something, and we succeed in passing through.
Anyway, we find the archaeologist and he gives us a journal to understand his work, something I still haven’t done out of laziness. That’s it, mission accomplished. By the way, in that area there was a sword buried in a rock surrounded by men trying to pull it out. I gave it a try—epic cutscene with background music and… nope, I couldn’t. Guess we’ll have to call Arthur. Yes, yes, I know… turns out I need to level up some attributes to be able to pull out the mighty sword. I suppose I’ll try again later.
Mission completed, now we move on to the next one. This time we’ll have to protect a village that is being attacked by creatures called Balverines. Balverines are half-wolf, half-man beings—in other words, classic werewolves.
On the way to the village, some bandits ambushed me. Fortunately, a few guards nearby came to help—well, not much help, because by accident I attacked one of them and they all turned against me. This game is a bit radical."
Well, I made it to the village but I don’t have time for more. Thanks for sticking with me until now, dear reader. Have a nice day and see you next time.
