We can ... but our very humble abode is over a Thabacci on a very busy main arterial to the highway and harbour on the one side, with a big motorcycle shop across the way.... and behind us is a superstore for COOP .... the noise is horrific and continuous at the front, and at the back it starts at 05h30 until 07h00'ish ... very very loud unpacking of huge delivery trucks. So we do practise student air conditioning but in short bursts .... otherwise sanity departs. Also, the little red building in which we live is FULLY exposed to the sun LITERALLY from sunrise to sunset and bakes.
We handed in our notice as at the end of this month.... I have yet to find alternative accomodation.... else it's back to Africa for me
