phew, besides the top 1% ... everyone is feeling the pinch. we just received our very first utility bill .... nearly puked. our estimations for gas, water and electricity was trumped by electricity alone.... and gas is more expensive and something we used more of as it heats the water and we cook every day. {sigh}

we had a decent planning session this morning and then went and spent some money to ensure that we are well positioned to reduce bills without sacrificing lifestyle... but definitely no more home baked bread :(
