my good lady has returned to south africa to visit the children and grand children. so yours truly is on his lonesome.
i took a walk in a different direction and entered through a large gateway into what i thought was a park. it turned out to be something completely different. an old psychiatric home which has been repurposed ... rambling grounds and large buildings with rather eerie walkways and passages. as is my wont, i snapped a few pics....
while i was there i saw and heard noone, but did see a number of parked ambulances and other vehicles. the darker corridors with the dry leaves blowing around were really rather strange... like in a horror movie..
i particularly like this photograph. i think it will also work well in black and white
the following photograph was not edited except to reduce the size... this was almost exactly how it looked in real life...
last one.... although they all look the same these were different corridors... there are about eight large buildings all connected by these walk ways.
i had a pleasant hour meandering around this rather calm, quiet place with the dead rustling leaves blowing up and down the corridors in what small breeze there was.
