Millennials...Z-Gen .... how many of your generations artists will be around in 2 decades? How many of their tunes will be played (or even remembered ) in 3 decades? Nuff said!!!
South African artists have never really featured on the international stage when it comes to charting, but just maybe this one would have had a chance if we did not have international sanctions at the time.

Tom Waits - Jersey Girl*
A rare 'normal' song from my man Tom {smile} ... while this was playing I set my mind to thinking of some mellow bestest gender artists...and instantly I drifted back to the 70's...Emmylou Harris, Buffy Saint-Marie, Linda Ronstadt and the queen... Joan Baez. I decided to warm up with and number (1971 I think) which brings back mega memories and I believe will lead well into a slow Saturday finale.

As a youngster I had a really tough time (any of my actual involved followers will know this) and it was during this time that my almost 'desperate' love of music took hold. It kept me sane !!
