Some bands were so dominant in the 70's it is difficult to get away from the top dozen bands or so, but Triarch were certainly very decent without getting mainstream recognition. Another favorite of mine is Motorhead ... and it has been a while since I featured them in a post...so here it ...play loud

Second last track from an almost unknown band. Stone Axe's' sole release is a slice of pure Sabbathian Doom Metal.... give it a listen, truly listen to the end. I love the guitar work. I decided to research them more and found another band named STONE AXE which formed in 2009 but nothing on the original line up.
