We all have our favorite music .... or for some seriously unfortunate people....no music. How many genre's are there? Let me name those I know... or believe I know...
Classical, Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk, Country and Western, Electronic, Grunge, Pop, Folk, Opera (is this classical?), Fusion Jazz, Jazz, Chamber (is this Classical?), Blues, New Wave .... what have I left out? What have I forgotten?
The Devil's Daughters - Rock Boppin Baby
Now I really do not know where and how this track popped up in my youtube feed... but certainly the females caught my attention .... I was feeling sorry for them as it is obviously a cold night there... and they ARE scantily dressed... and it turns out that the tune is not half bad and the girls can sing.
But what is it? Folk? Country and Western? Blues?
I would like to explore some GRUNGE music... as that is the mood I am in... but we will eventually work our way through that whole list.

L7 is a band from California active from the mid 1980's. Their most played number was Pretend We're Dead ...
Now me ... I not sure this qualifies as Grunge. They sound like soft rock from the late 70's , early 80's ... sort of Suzi Quattro or Sue Sade
Better Grunge is Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Temple of the Dog ... and as I have frequently shared the former two.... let us listen to the latter ...

I don't know, this could be construed as soft rock... sort of Creed and Nickleback style altho they were around before those two. Pleasant tune though.
Soundgarden - Rusty cage
Now to my mind this is one of the weaker performances by Chris Cornell ... I rate him as a vocalist but he sounds like a petulant child on this track.
One of my favorite bands from the Grunge genre is .... no prizes for guessing who...
Pearl Jam - Black
But probably the best of the best .... R.I.P Kurt ...
