what a wednesday!! we had to relocate to another town ... and as is our wont, we planned it all before the day. pedaled into senegallia to buy bus tickets..verified time and departure location on the day before the move.

where is the music you may ask ..... good question

down to the beach for a last walk and swim then .... off we went.

my good lady ... at our first bus stop...to get to senegallia

well lou reed was luckier than us .... far from a perfect day... at senegallia the bus did not appear. we asked the lady who sold us the tickets and she advised there was no bus that day... we need to take a train. she then sold us the tickets for a train (no refunds mind) ..and casually said 'it is on platform 1 and leaving soon'

rush with all our heavy luggage, down two flights of stairs, under the rail line...up two flights of stairs ... and JUST make the train.

i was impressed how empty the train was and how comfortable it looked ... barely had we made ourselves comfortable...trying to get our breath back and wipe the sweat from our brows and the conductor came along and chased us out of first class like we were a pair of criminals...

finally reach our destination just to find we had missed the bus from the station into town... so we decided to walk. man, hauling luggage over cobbled roads up seriously steep hills in 32 degrees celsius temperatures at 14h00 is not for old people. {thinks} 'then we must be young'

the irate host checked his watch as we came around the corner huffing and puffing .... but was mortified when we told him we had walked! he looked at us as if we are two loonies escaped from the nuthouse (mutters apologies to any mentally deranged readers who take offense to my politically incorrect use of the word nut}

the place is tiny and no balcony ... and we are seriously going to struggle. we are now going to explore and try and find a park, outside space where we can spend time out of each others hair.

not shabby... but definitely little.

as always thank you for stopping by and i trust you enjoyed the music. Stay safe and free.
