greetings my fellow hivers ... today i am asking you all to sit back and enjoy the music from yesteryear... in fact yesterdecades...
Verdi's La Traviata - The Drinking Song
what a magnificent piece of music from one of my all time favorite opera's... i am definitely a verdi fan through and through. for this next track please be patient it starts slowly, but once it gets going it is amazing...
*ludwig von beethoven's 9th symphony movement 4 aka "ode to joy"
for the record i got side tracked and listened to the entire symphony... all one hour 15 minutes of it. what genius and dedication, perserverance and patience must it take to write such a score. i is gobsmacked.
a final musical interlude i would like to share is not in the 'classical' mode although i believe it is brilliant. as kids we all loved the music and the commercial for old spice below...
and so i went and found the vinyl for the entire musical. enjoy carl orff's o fortuna from his carmina burana opera.
joyous music which gets me smiling almost as much as good hard rock. i think that even my old friend @edje would enjoy this or at the very least appreciate the talent of the composers and the musicians performing.
stay safe, stay free and love the one you with...
