Do you have Zombie Walk event where you live? We do and it's a fun annual event, which actually isn't really related to Halloween
Our zombie walk is to bring zombie awareness, obviously 馃槀 It is for those who'd like to be zombies instead vampires! It is a family friendly event, but if your kids are scared of anything horror, I'd strongly suggest the adults to be aware of their responsibilities as the parents!! 馃槀鉁岋笍馃槀
All joking aside, our zombie walk is actually a fun way to collect non-perishable foods for our local food bank.
We usually gather at a park which then together we march around certain areas of the city, then end our walk to watch a movie and enjoy popcorn at our local movie theater.
Sadly although it's been 5 years now we have this zombie walk, the kids and I are still not able to partake, mostly because you have to be a zombie, right, and my kids always have some kind of reactions to commercial face paint and whatnot. For zombie walk, everyone has to be zombie, not any other attributes. I tried once making my own paint from Vaselline, baking soda, conrstarch and food color, the kids didn't like those 馃槄
If only they didn't have reactions to face paint, I kick ass on face painting actually 馃槀 Joking!
