Today I have a song that is very known in Indonesia and has been sung by many singers in many versions, from reggae, to jazz, to rock and of course the original version too, which is pop-dangdut, and this song is called Mundur Alon-Alon or in English, Slowly Backing Away.
Although this song is by Indonesian, it is not sung in Indonesian but rather in Javanese, a language from the people of Java, an island in Indonesia.
But even so, Indonesians who don't even speak Javanese, like this song much, as the music and the lyrics are pretty good.
The main meaning of the song, is that a guy learns the girl he loves doesn't love him, so he is slowly backing away from her, as she's into someone else.
