Greetings everyone,

Lately I have not been posting at all on hive and that is due to many factors like being busy that I barely have time to play my daily games, as well as the meta being very stable for a while that I have been playing the same deck for the last 2 months and did not switch at all!

I have been playing my card draw magic deck and it has been doing me wonders and was getting really good win rates and good amount of win during the weekend events! However, now and after the latest small balance patch, you can see that there are several new decks that emerged and some that were killed too!

So I came across an aggro light deck, that is only 25$ and is doing really good in the current meta, I went ahead and tried it and got literally 10 wins on my first day using it, which might be a coincidence but still even after that it got me 6+ always! So i will be sharing this deck with you and I hope you like it.

The Deck

The deck costs around 25$, and doing really good at the moment. You can see that of course, it is very similar to all the light decks out there, however it has several cards that are not always added but have really good use, and other cards that are newly added and very useful too! So let us go across these cards and see why are they good right now:

Frequent and new additions

These are the cards that were run before in aggro light decks, but you do not find them always there:

Ritual Rod

"rod.png"

This card is really helpful against aggro matchups; it helps clear creature early game without sacrificing yours which helps you build a better board! Also with the many mystics you have in your deck you can get the extra durability which can be really good!

Call of the Light

"call of the light.png"

This card can be let go of, however, it is really helpful when you run out of cards in your hand and it can give you many creatures to play. It is more effective against mid range matchups I would say but slows down temp a bit.

Holy Writ

"writ.png"

This one is excellent if you had the upper hand early on, especially against control matchups. If used on 3 or more creatures at 3 or 4 mana it can easily set you up for a huge buffing potential that can literally end the game for you!

Athenian Archer

"archer.png"

The current meta has a lot of ward, protected and a lot of times many creatures live with 1 hp especially when its aggro vs aggro matchup! And that exactly why this card is really at the moment and it definitely saved me in many situations and help me take over the game, build tempo and win the match! Really underrated card at the moment in my opinion.

Dread Pirate

"dread.png"

Similar to the Athenian Archer, this card can help you get through wards and protected, and also finish off creatures that lives with 1 hp which again, it happens a lot in the current meta! Also having 2/2 states makes it really good with light since it can receive every buff that you have!

Madame Denholm To You

"madame.png"

Madame oh Madame! Now this card is definitely replaceable, but I can say it is also helpful in this deck since it keep on producing 1/1 rogues that you can buff at any time while she's also hidden which makes her very difficul to kill in many matchups. Definitely slows the tempo a little bit though but get set you off to a really good 6 mana turns!

Final Thoughts

The meta has been very stable for the last 2 months in my opinion, however, after the last update many new decks emerged and this is one of them! There is also olympian war that is taking over which I might try later on, but for now I am really enjoying my time playing this deck and getting fast wins!

Now you do need to be familiar with aggro decks, specifically aggro light because it is a little bit tricky and different to play that other aggro decks, but with a little bit of time I am sure you will get the hang of it!

That was it for this one, I will try my best to keep on posting as much as I can, I just really want to make sure to test the deck before I post about it because my goal is to post decks that are really effective and can help anyone get more wins with a budget version! So I will try my best to keep posting while maintaining the quality of the decks that I post!

Mad Love, Peace out <3
