I think there's a balance between having devout faith and confidence in Steem, but also realizing that there are plenty of other cryptos whose communities equally believe they should also be in the top 5 or 10. Marketing can ultimately do so much, but Steem needs a mammoth push to make such strides that I don't sense is on the way for a while. Barely anyone knows about Steem, so your friend is in the company of 99.99% of the world's population, and not an outlier by any means given her interests. We're the outliers. (Math puns.)
