I probably see it too simple.
Up until now, Pumkin or Freedom had control over what happens with their massive stake, They decided who was in the top 20 and from their pushed their agenda. My voice was heard by none because of a lower, much lower SP.

Now someone else has control over a larger amount of SP and there is a Circle the wagons attitude coming from those with the high SP to prevent that Steem gaining a control over the chain. The same way as Pumkin held.

What I do fins really funny, is the things I proposed two years ago or longer has been voiced by @pennsif and probably others, of the need to work together.

I will add to that. The things I have heard about suggested projects on coming together, Put the power right back were it is with the current top 20.

Benefits for everyone are not in the talks on the table, the talks revolve around those with and their ability to keep.
