I remember visiting Nilaveli Beach in 2005, during a brief peace period in the war. People were going to Pigeon Island, but I didn’t join them.

I’ve never had the chance to explore that area or dive in the eastern reefs of the island. But here at Hikkaduwa Reef, we had a similar diving experience—though I’ve never seen that white worm before.
