Have you ever camped out by the beach on a tent 🏕 with your friends before?
Hi! I’m Cian 👋 and this is me reminiscing my camping experience.
Lambug White Beach 🌊 is located in Badian, Cebu near famous tourist destinations like Kawasan Falls and Osmeña Peak. It is also called "The Little Bora of Southern Cebu".
After my Kawasan Falls journey, before the sun sets on the west, we hurriedly went to our next stop. One of the best place to be when in Badian is this magnificent gift from nature. A lot already posted about this beach on other social media platforms and even on Hive. But most of the time, they're all during daytime wherein they showcase the vibrant fresh blue color of the beach water.
My taken pics of the beach might be dull in color (since it’s night time) but it’s full of life and memories. ❤️
I lost count but I think almost half of my college squad were there and 2 of our friends’ boyfriends joined us. The more the merrier and it wouldn’t be as fun without everyone, although how I wish we were complete. But... heyyy, it’s camping time! ⏰
We enjoyed each other’s company indeed.
This trip is pre-pandemic that’s why no face masks and face shields can be seen in the vicinity hahaha.
We arrived at Lambug Beach 🏝 near 6pm already that’s why we already missed the opportunity to see the sunset there. But anyway, we hurriedly parked our car near the concrete road near the beach. We made sure to park it where we can see it while camping because... it’s already night time and we have a lot of our valuable things inside hahahaha.
We set-up two tents along the beach and one by one got our foods and other things from the car to a cottage. We saw other campers too (around two groups), but we made our distance from them so that we can enjoy the place without feeling congested hahaha, and besides, the coast is so wide and vast.
After setting up everything, we are already ready to... eat hahahaha 😂 . We were so hungry already after hiking Kawasan Falls and on our way to the beach, we can already hear rumbling stomachs haha. We ate the foods that we bring to share. And I think we also bought some ice and foods from stores nearby.
We ate on the sand but putting some tarpaulin first on it so that we won’t leave a mess afterwards. Claygo 🗑. It was so dark and the only light we had was our phones.
But aside from eating, we were also excited to drink hahahaa 🍻 🍺. We already did at Kawasan Falls but we didn’t go all out because going down there would be a real challenge if we did got drunk for real. We drank to our heart’s content, and maybe liver idk haha.
A funny thing worth to share is that it was my first time drinking Mojitos Gold Agave 🤢 and up until now, I’m still traumatized hahaha.
The taste is so weird and I hate it. Drinking it using a little shot cup then later on eating a little bit of salt made me so excited to try it. But after only a few shots, I’m already wasted. I’ll never try it again huhu. The taste of it even stayed on my mouth for maybe two days. I can still taste it even after drinking lots of water and brushing my teeth. Waaaahhh, remembering it now makes me wanna puke🤢. This drink might really be not for me, I’ll just go back to my usual water diet.😅
Just like in my Kawasan Falls blog, you can also visit here anytime, while of course following minimum safety protocols since we’re still in a pandemic. But as people slowly go to the new normal, more people will bisit this place once again. 😬
You can ride a bus (~3 to 4 USD) going to Badian at South Bus Terminal in Cebu City. Just talk to the drivers there and they’ll surely try to assist you. But of course, it’s much more better to have or rent a private car so that you can move freely and your time will be yours; and you can easily visit other tourist spots nearby too.

Above is a pic of Lambug Beach by day time from Sugbo.ph. This is just for you to be more encouraged to visit the place. I mean...just look at the view, isn’t it nice to spend a day or two here? My friends and I weren’t able to see this beauty because we only stayed here for the night to camp.
We slept being tipsy and drunk, some on the tent, others on the cottage. I remember looking at the sky that night. It’s full of stars and it looked so peaceful. We talked along the coast and by the beach. We tried swimming but it’s scary since there were no lights.
Left there by sunrise around 6am and we got the chance to see the beautiful sunrise with the sky covered in pink, light blue and orange.
I had a great time at Lambug Beach. Although things got a little messy because of drinking too much alcohol, it surely left a mark in my heart. All the things we did on our trip from Kawasan Falls down to this beach (both in Badian) will forever be remembered.
We felt so vulnerable and carefree while camping out by the beach. You should try this one too. I bet you really want to 😊.
