As my daughter's school has been finished and she is stepping in bigger classes, they gave her dates for summer vacation and it started last week. I had planned to go to mom's house immediately once the date was confirmed but my mother in law had an eye surgery (cataract) last week and it had been an extremely busy week for me. There is no one but me to cook for entire house and to take care of everyone and everything on my own. Finally today she went back to check on her eyes and doctor apparently told her to go back to her normal life style, which means she can now do things in her own and this is the best time for me to use the vacation to visit Mom. So finally, I'm leaving tonight and I need to travel some 400 miles so it is going to be an overnight journey. I hate the fact that I'm living very far from Mom. I wish I was in the same city as she is. But yet, am excited to see Mom tomorrow morning considering she is the best Mom in the entire world.
