Many shows in 2007 had these issues. Rushed to finale and story missing something. Supernatural was a show a friend of mine worked on as a grip and I remember being told it totally messed up season 3.

Definitely give it a chance! It might not have aged perfectly from that late eighties style of blockbuster but it’s a real classic story and Robert is great in it with Tom. Definitely worth it! !BBH !ALIVE
