It isn't often that I get close enough to get a good shot of a crocodile, most of the time that is great, as I wouldn't want to be within striking distance of one of these amazing and powerful creatures. On this occasion I found a spot which gifted me with the perfect angle to capture the jaws of this crazy looking creature.
I was still out of reach of the crocodile and safely over the other side of a wall. I have never really noticed the fascinating texture they have on their scaly bodies, until I took this shot as usually I see these water dwellers on television, or from far a field.
Salt water crocodiles are the biggest out of all the crocodile species. They can grow up to 7 metres in length and weigh up to 1000 kg! The biggest croc in captivity was at the very place I took this photo; Samut Prakan Crocodile farm. The beast weighed a whopping 1,114 kg and 6 metres in length!
