So I have already picked out my secret Santa Christmas card and bought a couple of funky new 1oz bars to choose from. I will probably add some little Shiny morsel or tidbit — just because the SGS member I got has been really good this year, and, because it’s the most wonderful time of year (despite what ya see on the news...)

I love the secret Santa tradition around these here parts, and for the past couple years opening up my secret Santa present has been a highlight of Christmas morning. Ooooooh! What’s it gonna’ be this year?

Lol! A boy can dream right? Actually, I have already bought the above coin and when it arrives it will join 9 other Queen’s Beasts coins and complete my set. And I gotta’ say: the Queen’s Beasts are an awesome set of coins. They are beautiful, shiny, and two fat ounces each. All together they really look like some kind of super fancy treasure. I wish I had had the money these last couple years to put together more than one full set — I’m sure the secondary market will price these babies pretty high, and I can only imagine full sets will have a hefty premium on them.

This brings me to an interesting story about how I acquired the last one — the White Lion of Mortimer.
It is already sold out on the Canadian bullion sites I look at, and local shops are either sold out too or never got their act together to order any in the first place. So I knew I needed some serious help...

I reached out to @raybrockman — the SGS OG and creator of Toxic Bullion — for some help. And, since ol’ brother ray is usually interested in making a silver deal, we made one! Ray sourced out the coin and bought it with USD. Then, he sent me a screen cap of the invoice — and here’s where it gets more interesting — ray sent me his Zilliqa address and I opened up my Atomic Wallet, selected usd as local currency, went to my Zilliqa wallet and dialed up the exact amount — to the penny — and sent it! It was there in Ray’s wallet in a flash, and the entire transaction cost me, wait for it, w-a-i-t-, exactly $0.0001 usd! That’s right! Using Zilliqa it cost me 1/100th of one cent to send money instantly and internationally. Now of course there are other cryptocurrencies out there like bitcoin or ethereum, but in both those cases it costs like 500-1000x more to use! $0.50 cents to $1 dollar transaction fees (and even higher) are all too common. 2021 is going to be a boomer year for cryptos. I would bet anybody we will see new All Time Highs, and will also see some of the altcoins (like Zilliqa) go absolutely apetard. A few bucks well placed now could turn into some serious gains, and thus, more money for more silver!
