Just got some heavy Queen Vibes — which is somewhat apropo given the 1ozer I grabbed today. Yadda’ yadda’ I pulled into Fatburger so I could go across the street to Van Gold, which I did. But afterwards, me old burger compartment and my brain got to scheming and I wound up zippin’ in for a Scooby snack.
Straight up cheeseburger (extra onions) and a small coke, $10.09, + $0.91 tip and one 1oz Brittania for $39 —> $50 clams spent in a delicious hurry!
When you actually stop and look at how little $50 gets you these days — even if that burger and coke hit the C spot — and even if $39 is fair market value for a snazzy ounce of silver — you may ask yourself: WTF is going on?
