One of the things i love most about Portland is the fact that i have lived here for so many years and i am still finding areas i have never been before, like Mississippi avenue for example. You could spend an entire day just walking down this road and admiring all of the interesting shops, restaurants and bars. If you do decide to go to this cute little section of town i definitely recommend taking friends or family for a relaxing but intriguing adventure. Although, if you decide to go i must recommend one of my favorites, an astronomy themed bar/restaurant named "Eclipse". It's a very simple and relaxing joint but, for all of you astronomy nerds, this is the perfect place to wind down after a day out with friends. Enjoy!
