We were born and we all die. It's an uncomfortable subject for many people because they want to ignore and deny the subject for as long as possible. I don't think anyone is really ready, at least not totally. Except those with a slow cancer giving them time to accept and prepare.

One thing is for sure, we're all going to find out. Hopefully, not too soon though! Best to be at peace every day because you never know...
