Vanity... Far too many people have it and for no good reason...
As far as rest goes, there are people who are born with the short sleep gene. They only need about 3-4 hours of sleep a day. I didn't get that gene sadly, it would have been nice to be one of those people who don't have to sleep as much and still thrive. But rest is important, you will get sick and if you have an underlying condition it will get worse the less you sleep.
Health can't be exchanged for money, and if you are sick and unhealthy all the money in the world can't fix it. That might be different in 100 or 200 years when aging is deleted from the human genome. Way too late for us though!
