That's great! Only $1 over spot is a great deal! The jeweler I like to buy from sells stuff to me at spot, but then again he buys them for much less. Lately he just hasn't had anything good sold to him, old jewelry mainly. Great job on that buy, and your son had fund playing with them is a bonus too.
