Hi everyone! I am back! I've been sidelined by some COVID vaccine related autoimmune arthritis in my fingers. It makes it hard to type when you fingers hurt... I'm on the mend so I decided to throw together a Three Tune Tuesday to get back in the swing of thing. Why, because it's a lot of fun!
However, before we get going, I want to say thank you to @ablaze for starting and continuing to sponsor this fun weekly event where you can share three songs that you enjoy. One lucky participant will win some HSBI units, you can't have too many of those! So if you don't already participate feel free to jump in, just use the tag #ttt or #threetunetuesday and it's never a bad idea to do a shoutout to
@ablaze .
So lets jump into the music, I do hope you enjoy. These are some fun ones, both new and old.
Since I'm back, I thought it would be fun to do some "Back In Black"
This legendary Aussie band formed in 1973 and had moderate success until the death of front man Bon Scott in 1980. They finally hit a homerun when they hired lead singer Brian Johnson replacing Scott and recorded the album "Back In Black" in 1980. It quickly became one of the best selling records of all time, and still ranks number two on the list of best sellers having sold over 50 million copies. So let's kick off with some "Back In Black":
This band formed in 2009 in New York City after front woman Taylor Monsen decided to quit acting to pursue a career in hard rock. They picked up a following very quickly and have produced five albums over that time span. Recently while touring with AC/DC in Mexico City, Momsen was bitten by a venomous spider in the hotel and spent the night in the hospital. But the next night she still performed, talk about work ethic!
This song is: "Only Love Can Save Me Now"
This Danish band formed in 2001 in Copenhagen, and have been topping the charts since 2007. The first song I ever heard by them was "Lola Montez", it's an amazing song if you haven't heard it look it up. It came from their 2013 album Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies which was all about the old west in the United States. An interesting pick for a band from Denmark! This song came off that album and is called: "Lonesome Rider"
That will do it for me today, I hope you enjoyed. Please feel free to leave any comments or questions below, and as always thank you for all of your support. It really is greatly appreciated! Have a great day everyone!
