"Can we go kayaking Daddy?"

"I mean, if you really want to. It takes more balance than a canoe."

"I can do it! I really wanna go, pleeeeeeease?"

So I took the young warrior princess, @khaldeesi, on her first outing in a kayak mid-spring this year. She loved it! Can't say she caught any fish, but she did have a few bites. She was a little sad and I explained to her that setting the hook at the level of the water is far harder than standing with leverage on a boat or off the bank.

She'll learn though. She has the determination and growing strength to be far better than daddy on the water. It still was a lot of fun just paddling with her and just as I remind her, I say to you - REMEMBER, there's always a bigger fish.
