We have been watching the USD/JPY for many days, we know that it has been below a bearish trend line for a few years now, as we can see in this weekly chart.
The bearish pressure being observed is quite high, a support zone had formed between prices 109.50 and 109.25, but the price still insists on staying below and just above at the downtrend line now turned support.
We must be very vigilant from now on with the price action, as if the pair goes back below the trend line, we could continue the downtrend taking the pair to lows at 108.00 and 107.00.
Should it hold above, I personally would not enter the market until I see the pair above 109.50. Probably the next upside target would be 110.90 and 112.00.
In any of the two scenarios I will enter looking for a retest at the support or resistance that has just been broken and with a trailing stop of about 30 pips approximately. In both operations I will have a fairly good risk/reward ratio of at least 1/3.

El par USD/JPY venimos observ谩ndolo desde hace muchos d铆as, sabemos que se hab铆a mantenido por debajo de una linea de tendencia bajista desde hace algunos a帽os, como podemos observar en este grafico semanal.
La presi贸n bajista que se est谩 observando es bastante alta, se hab铆a formado una zona de soporte entre los precios 109.50 y 109.25, pero el precio sigue insistiendo en mantenerse por debajo y justo por encima en la linea de tendencia bajista ahora convertida en soporte.
Debemos estar muy atentos de ahora en adelante con la acci贸n del precio, ya que si el par vuelve a estar por debajo de la linea de tendencia, podr铆amos continuar con la tendencia bajista llevando el par a m铆nimos en 108.00 y 107.00.
En caso de mantenerse por encima, personalmente no entrar铆a al mercado hasta ver el par por encima de 109.50. Probablemente el pr贸ximo objetivo alcista ser铆an los 110.90 y 112.00
En cualquiera de los dos escenarios entrar茅 buscando el retesteo en el soporte o resistencia que se acabe de romper y con un stop pegado de unos 30 pips aproximadamente. En ambas operaciones tendr茅 una relaci贸n de riesgo beneficio bastante buena de m铆nimo 1/3.
