Being good is not easy
smiling even when others poke you
ignoring the retorts
not minding the rebukes
trying hard, still, to be courteous
never trying to payback
life is not to be spent
trying to play the cat and mouse game
it is for us to move on
and achieve what is meant for us to gain
each century has its share of hypocrites
the dictators and the cynics
learn to ignore and move on
always choose a leader who is right
a great leader does well
and the nation progresses
the people are prosperous
and being good is not hard after all
