Today, March 20th is Hive's birthday
Hive is only 3 years old.
Now, don't get me wrong, I know a little bit about Hive's hardfork from Steem. I just didn't think it was as recent as the start of the COVID pandemic. You see, it was only back in August 2021 that I started looking into this thing called Play2Earn and in early September I stumbled across the NFT card game called Splinterlands.
I'm sure a vast number of Splinterlands players can tell a similar story. In fact, many of them also had no idea what Hive was or that owning a Splinterlands spellbook meant they had a Hive account as well when they first started playing. This is when I found an amazing community that welcomed me with open arms and helped expand my knowledge of Blockchain technology, tokenomics, and the world of Hive. So special thanks go out to @thebeardflex and @hivetrending and the whole @hive.pizza community. You can tell they truly love Hive, and their efforts to spreading info and onboarding new Hive users is incredible.
Anyway, enough about my story, this is about Hive's Birthday!!
What's a Birthday Without Presents?
Well, not in the usual sense at least. There's 100,000 in HP delegations being given out to you, the members of Hive. In order to be eligible to win, there's a few things you need to do.

Spread the word by sharing your post on Twitter and other social media
Your account has to be older than one month old with a reputation of 39+. You can't go around creating new accounts to t and increase you odds.
Your account must have less than 25k Hive Power, so no problems here
You must be in good standing with the Hive community
Two lucky winners will each receive a 25k HP delegation. Three lucky winners will each get a 10k HP delegation. And four winners will each get a 5k HP delegation. All delegations will last 1 month.
