Energi (NRG) is an interesting project that plans to be the highest sustainable staking cryptos out there. Energi wants to make it easy to stake and earn for everyone, so the staking requirement for this crypto is currently only 1 token.
The staking rewards for energi are very high but they are limited to 1 million new Energi which will be created every month. This 1 million will be divided among the Treasury, Backbone, Stakeholders, and Masternodes.
40% will go to the Energi Treasury, 10% to the Energy Backbone, 10% to Stakeholders, and 40% to Masternode owners.
The Treasury will handle all funding proposals, the Energy Backbone will help to support the network by providing the team with incentives to continue development, and the stakeholders and masternode owners will help to support the network and allow for fast transactions.

Although Energi seems like an interesting crypto and has a plan that will probably encourage more mass adoption of cryptocurrency. The requirements for being a masternode holder is 10,000 Energi right now. Energi does have some promising plans for the future including the planned launch of Energi X (a 0-fee Futures Exchange to rival Bitmex) in Q3 of 2019 as well as making Energi 3.0 sometime in Q4 of 2019, which will make Energi into a promising Dapp platform said to rival Ethereum.
