So many people are scared about AI but I think they're scared for the wrong reasons. I don't think we'll see a robot uprising anytime soon. However, the governments of the world can't be trusted to use this technology ethically. THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE SHOULD BE WORRIED AND AFRAID ABOUT.

With all the great use cases you listed. I think the evils it will usher in are far greater than any value it currently offers. It will be used for war games, mass surveillance, propaganda, and god knows what else. Were already seeing it's use in cybersecurity but also the other side, the hacking side of that. People made such a big deal out of Kali Linux when it first came out because it made almost anyone a really great hacker/cracker. Just imagine what these AI models will do in the wrong hands.

Vitalik recently talked about AI breaking encryption. There will be NO PRIVACY what so ever.

I think the early internet took away the control of the corporate media model, the mainstream narrative, and the propaganda machine of most governments. It's my humble opinion, AI is what they'll use to take that narrative back. That is why they're pushing so hard. It's not about the betterment of mankind, it's about controlling mankind.

I love this technology and use it often. I just hope it's detriments don't outweigh its benefits. Personally, I'm scared to death at how this tech will be used. The more I research, the more alarmed I become.
