Carol flies to Bruce Banner’s lab and asks him if he’s doing some more experiments on Gamma radiation.
(A slight foreshadowing was seen in Endgame when Bruce was explaining how the Gamma radiation and infinity stones work together).
Stark arrives there as well, and sees Carol escalating and asks the both of them to step outside so they can have a talk.
As Banner steps out he sees the rest of the Avengers waiting for him, and confused he asks them:
“What did I do?”
Tony answers: “That’s just the thing Bruce, you haven’t done anything”.
Carol tells him about Ulysses, she explains to him how the kid has this ability to see the future.
Banner is left speechless.
Tony tells him that they’re split and they don’t know what to do. But Carol says that there is no confusion and that nobody is split. She tells Bruce that they will act on Ulysses’ visions as if there were true.
Bruce clearly resents her and says: “You broke into my home, and you accused me of something that I haven’t done… And I’m the bad guy?”
Despite the resentment he puts his hands forward ready to be arrested, but all of the sudden things took a turn for the worse.
An arrow shoots out of nowhere hitting Bruce in the head, killing him instantly.
The Arrow was a Hulk-killing arrow infused with Gamma radiation and the shooter was none than Clint Barton, Hawkeye.
He just killed one of the original avengers and one of his closest friends, and now everybody is in shock.
